PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine accuracy of weather prediction information.SOLUTION: A weather prediction error analysis system includes: acquisition means for acquiring weather observation data; calculation means for calculating a prediction value of a physical amount concerning a specific weather phenomenon on the basis of a weather model by using the weather observation data; storage means for storing a conditional probability table which is a two-dimensional probability distribution table indicating a conditional probability determined on the basis of a dependence relation with a plurality of weather determination elements per error section determined by a difference between the prediction value and the weather observation data; determination means for determining each of the plurality of weather determination elements on the basis of the weather observation data and the prediction value; and calculation means for calculating a probability distribution regarding the error section from the conditional probability table on the basis of a result of the determination of each weather determination element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
