PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To negate the need of a voltage limiter such as a resistance element connected to a clamp circuit in parallel in an electrostatic protection circuit including the clamp circuit connected to a switching circuit brought into an on-state following a voltage applied in series and to reduce a circuit area.;SOLUTION: An electrostatic protection circuit is connected to a second terminal via a second node while being connected to a first terminal via a first node. The electrostatic protection circuit comprises a switching circuit and a clamp circuit connected in series between the first node and the second node, and includes a plurality of diodes connected in series between the switching circuit and a semiconductor substrate or a well such that the switching circuit is brought into an on-state following a voltage applied when a voltage between the first node and the second node becomes a predetermined voltage or more and a current flows in a forward direction in the clamp circuit when the switching circuit is brought into the on-state.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
