PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device of an internal combustion engine capable of improving estimation accuracy for PM amount accumulated in a PM filter.;SOLUTION: An exhaust emission control device 40 of an internal combustion engine 10 comprises: a PM filter 42 disposed in an exhaust passage 30 of the internal combustion engine 10, and configured to capture PM contained in exhaust gas; a heater 42 configured to heat the PM filter 42; and a controller 44 configured to, when an engine body 10 is in an idle state, control the heater 42a so that ash accumulated in the PM filter 42 due to temperature rise at the PM filter 42 is subjected to grain growth.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
