PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection welding method and a projection welding electrode by which deterioration of a joint steel plate after wear of an electrode and welding can be reduced even if an insulation film is formed on a steel plate.;SOLUTION: According to this projection welding method, a first steel plate 10, and a second steel plate 20 which comprises a joint surface 21 in which a projection part 24 is formed, a non-joint surface 22 having an insulation film, and an outside surface 23 which is provided between the joint surface 21 and the non-joint surface 22 and has no insulation film, are located between a first electrode 2 and a second electrode 3 which is so located as to face the first electrode 2 so that the joint surface 21 of the second steel plate 20 faces the first steel plate 10, the second steel plate 20 is pressed against the first steel plate 10 by pressing the second electrode 3 relatively to the first electrode 2, and the first steel plate 10 and the second steel plate 20 are welded by electrical conduction via the outside surface 23 of the second steel plate 20 by the second electrode 3.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
