PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snowstorm generating method and a snowstorm generating device in which a snowstorm diffusion region and a concentration of snowstorm in the diffusion region can be adjusted desirably and easily.SOLUTION: There are provided a rotor having pressure feed flow passage passing inside in an axial direction and a rotation driving part for rotating said rotor at a predetermined rotation speed mainly around said axial direction, the pressure feed flow passage has an inlet port at an upstream side end surface and an exhaust port at a downstream side end surface, said exhaust port utilizes a diffusion type snow injection device set in its position in respect to said inlet port so as to discharge the snow particles in an orientation from said exhaust port in an axial direction. This invention provides a snowstorm generating method comprising: a step for transferring snow particles in said pressure feed flow passage toward said exhaust port under application of the pressure feed air; and a step for adjusting a snow storm diffusion region by adjusting a rotating speed mainly around an axial direction of said rotor with said rotation driving part and at the same time by adjusting a flow rate of snow particles in said pressure feed flow passage by the pressure feed speed of the snow storm in respect to its relation with the set rotating speed to adjust concentration of the snow storm in the diffusion region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
