To provide a repairing method, by which peeling of the adhesive repairing material does not occur and the damage speed of the refractories is reduced in actual operation by regulating the repairing material thickness and bottom-blown gas flow rate upon repairing of refractories applied to a bottom-blown tuyere of a converter-type reaction vessel.SOLUTION: In the method, when a damage depth x of a damaged portion of a refractory 7 is 0.00 m≤x≤0.30 m, a thickness y of the adhesive repairing material 8 is set to 0.50x+0.20≤y(m)≤0.50x+0.40, and the gas flow rate A per bottom-blowing nozzle 6 during repairing is set to 0.35x/y+0.50≤A (Nm/min)≤0.55x/y+0.70. When the damage depth x of the refractory 7 is 0.30 mx≤0.80 m, the thickness y of the adhesive repairing material 8 is set to 0.93x+0.07≤y(m)≤0.93x+0.27, and the bottom-blowing gas flow rate A during repairing is set to 1.40x/y-0.40≤A (Nm/min)≤1.10x/y+0.43.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
