PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tsunami mass transport energy relaxation device that can be installed on a sea bed in a stable state regardless of undulation of a seabed relax the mass transport energy of the tsunami accurately and reliably, and also easily perform maintenance and air replenishment.SOLUTION: A tsunami mass transport energy relaxation device according to the present invention comprises: an air tank 1 which is horizontally elongated cylindrical and can be filled with air and has an opening on a seabed side; an air tank holding weight 2 rotatably supported by a rotary shaft 14 provided along a central axis C of the air tank 1 and holding the air tank in the vicinity of a seabed SB; a tsunami detection float 3 disposed near a sea surface SF at a position separated by a predetermined distance in the horizontal direction from the air tank 1 held near the seabed SB; and an air tank rotation wire 4 for connecting the tsunami detection float 3 and a peripheral wall 11 of the air tank 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
