PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake motion time-series data processing device, an earthquake motion time-series data processing system using the same, and a time-series data processing method, which: can constantly compress signed integer (by a complement notation of two) data having a certain bit length (for example, 24 to 27 bits) into data having a certain bit length (for example, 16 bits); require no other sample values when decoding; and can compress time-series data or decode compressed data while maintaining a magnitude relation of values before and after compression when assuming the compressed data as a signed integer (by the compliment notation of two).SOLUTION: An earthquake motion time-series data processing device comprises a time-series data compression section which compresses signed integers (by a complement notation of two) X having an A-bit length, which are sample values of measured earthquake motion time-series, into data Y which can be assumed to be the signed integer (by the complement notation of two) having a B-bit length.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
