To provide an apparatus for generating three-dimensional shape data that easily obtains a three-dimensional shape with suppressed variations in coloring properties when observed from various angles, even if the three-dimensional shape has a complicated shape, as compared with the case where an ejection pattern of a modeling material is made different according to an angle formed between a plane direction of the layer and a surface direction of the three-dimensional shape for each layer to be laminated, and to provide a three-dimensional modeling apparatus, and a program for generating three-dimensional modeling data.SOLUTION: An apparatus 10 for generating three-dimensional modeling data is configured to generate a two-dimensional developed image formed by developing in two-dimensions designated color information on a surface of a three-dimensional shape represented by three-dimensional shape data and providing the developed two-dimensional shape with a thickness, generate color distribution information of the two-dimensional developed image so that a color distribution becomes different from the uppermost part to the lowermost part of the two-dimensional developed image, and generate three-dimensional modeling data by pasting a color distribution image represented by color distribution information of the generated two-dimensional developed image onto a three-dimensional shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
