To provide an optical subscriber line termination device capable of preventing occurrence of communication fault over a long time.SOLUTION: An optical subscriber line termination device 101 includes a log storage section 103 for recording log in real time, a log pattern storage section 107 storing a log pattern of warning occurrence of malfunction for multiple well-known malfunction symptoms, respectively, a log analysis section 103 for reading the logs recorded in the log storage section at a predetermined cycle and analyzing, and an OLT control section 104 performing a predetermined processing on the basis of the analysis results in the log analysis section 103. A log analysis section 105 collates the logs recorded in the log analysis section 103 and the log pattern stored in the log pattern storage section 107, and when a log pattern matching the log acquired by the log storage section 103 exists, the OLT control section 104 notifies of a well-known malfunction symptom corresponding to the matching log pattern.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
