To rigidly perform temporary fixation of a resin pipe to an electric fusion joint such that a temporary fixation operation can be efficiently performed.SOLUTION: A clamp device 10 includes a pair of clamp half bodies 11 and a bolt 19. The clamp half bodies have a joint retention part 12 and a pipe retention part 13, and are formed of bolt reception parts on circumferential direction both end parts. An insertion hole is formed on one side of the bolt reception parts opposite to each other and a screw hole is formed on the other side thereof. In such a state that two lines of bolts are inserted through insertion holes and are screwed with the screw holes on circumferential direction both end parts, the clamp half bodies are loosely connected separably to each other. A resin pipe passes between the separated clamp half bodies and is inserted to a joint. In such a state, the bolt is fastened to fix the joint 20 and the resin pipe temporarily, and an electric fusion process is practiced in the temporary fixation state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
