PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum die casting alloy having both strength and ductility.;SOLUTION: The aluminum die casting alloy of the present invention comprises 9-11.5 mass% of silicon (Si), 0.4-0.8 mass% of manganese (Mn), 0.1-0.5 mass% of magnesium (Mg), the balance aluminum (Al), and 0.25 mass% or less of iron (Fe), 0.1 mass% or less of zinc (Zn) and inevitable impurities. The aluminum die casting alloy has a matrix containing aluminum and silicon-containing particles having an aspect ratio of 1.0-2.5. The aluminum die casting alloy has a conductivity of 37% IACS or less. The aluminum die casting alloy is solid-solution strengthened by solid solution atoms in the matrix phase. Hard particles containing Si are spheroidized to relax the notch effect to provide strength and ductility in the aluminum die casting alloy.;SELECTED DRAWING: None;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
