To provide a packaging technique that not only enables safe transportation of a packaged body, but also facilitates disposal of a packaging material after use not to force a recipient side to do intricate work.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, a packaging material comprising a synthetic resin sheet which expands as air is injected has the synthetic resin sheet formed in a spread state to form a polyhedral storage body, and also has: an inside sheet which has an air cushion part so arranged as to expand as air is injected to hold a packaged body when the storage body is formed; and an outside sheet which is overlaid on a non-expansion side of the inside sheet and has larger rigidity than at least the air cushion part of the inside sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
