To compose music which is likely to gain support from an audience, by creating a new melody from structure data and lick data of past music.SOLUTION: A music composition support server 101 of the present disclosure includes a lick storage unit 193 which stores plural pieces of lick data which is a part of a melody which composes a song which has been composed in the past and is configured by an arrangement of pitch and note value information, a structure storage unit 191 which stores plural pieces structure data which is a structure of music and is a rule for arranging lick data, and a generator engine unit 131 for generating a new melody by selecting lick data from the lick storage unit 193 and arranging lick data according to the rules of the structure data selected from the structure storage unit 191 based on a user instruction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
