PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display help content whose display is highly likely to be desired by a user.;SOLUTION: When displaying help content provided by a server device in equipment, an application information acquisition unit acquires application state information indicating a state of an application program at the time of providing the help content from the application program, and an equipment information acquisition unit acquires equipment state information indicating a state of equipment at the time of providing the help content, and a content acquisition unit makes a request for transmission of the help content corresponding to the application state information and the equipment state information to the server device, and a display control unit causes a display unit to display the help content transmitted from the server device.
