To provide a tea beverage having suppressed unique flavor of Pueraria hirsuta flower though Pueraria hirsuta flower is used in it, to provide a method for suppressing the flavor of Pueraria hirsuta flower of the tea beverage and to provide an agent for suppressing the flavor of Pueraria hirsuta flower of the tea beverage.SOLUTION: A tea beverage contains a tea extract, a Pueraria hirsuta flower extract and a plant extract which is different from the tea extract and is extracted from a leaf, a stem, a root or a seed of a plant. A method for suppressing the flavor of Pueraria hirsuta flower of a tea beverage comprises incorporating into a tea beverage containing a tea extract and a Pueraria hirsuta flower extract a plant extract which is different from the tea extract and is extracted from a leaf, a stem, a root or a seed of a plant. The agent for suppressing the flavor of Pueraria hirsuta flower of a tea beverage comprises as an active ingredient a plant extract which is different from a tea extract contained in the tea beverage and is extracted from a leaf, a stem, a root or a seed of a plant. Preferably, the plant extract includes a plant extract extracted from a plant of Leguminosae, Labiate or Rosaceae, more preferably, the plant extract includes a leguminous plant extract and particularly preferably, includes a Cassia mimosoides extract.SELECTED DRAWING: None
