FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, cardiology and can be used in the diagnosis of acquired heart mitral valve diseases. For the purpose of determining the type of pathological remodeling of the left chambers of the heart with the acquired diseases of the mitral valve, an index of volume remodeling (IVR) of the left chambers of the heart is performed in adult patients.
