The present invention relates to technology for associating a transaction with location information. According to an aspect of the invention, a system for associating a transaction with location information is provided. The system for associating a transaction with location information includes a locking device attached to a sharing service transportation means, limiting the usage of the sharing service transportation means, and locked by a locking code or unlocked by an unlocking code in only the one of a plurality of set zones, and a rental/return management server for generating the plurality of set zones using zone location information, receiving current location information of the sharing service transportation means, determining whether a location corresponding to the current location information is within the set zone by comparing the zone location information with the current location information, and generating either the locking code or the unlocking code according to a determination result. Accordingly, the present invention can perform a specific transaction in an associated location thereof.
