The present invention relates to a methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) 12KKPN53 strain (accession number: KCTC 13226BP) having high biofilm formation ability, a method for screening a biofilm formation inhibitor using the same, a composition for developing a biofilm formation inhibitor comprising the strain, and a kit. The methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) strain deposited with the accession number KCTC 13226BP according to the present invention has remarkably excellent biofilm-forming ability as compared with other methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus strains, and thus can be useful for screening a novel biofilm formation inhibitor. Therefore, the methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) strain can be used to develop therapeutic agents for various clinical diseases caused by biofilm formation.
