The present invention relates to an epoxy curing agent, more particularly, to a carbon dot composition for an epoxy curing agent, an epoxy curing material containing the carbon dot composition, and a method for preparing the same. The method includes a step of preparing an epoxy precursor; a step of producing carbon dots; a step of preparing a curing reaction product; and a step of curing the curing reaction product. It is possible to reduce environmental problems.
