The present invention relates to a composition containing a bower actinidia extract or a fraction thereof as an effective component for preventing a bacterial ulcer, and a use thereof. More specifically, since a bower actinidia extract and a hexane fraction, an ethyl acetate fraction and a butanol fraction thereof are derived from a natural material, the components are not harmful to human bodies and do not cause environmental pollution, while indicating an excellent prevention effect to a kiwifruit ulcer and a tomato ulcer caused by Pseudomonas syringae pv. actinidiae and Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. michiganensis. As such, the components are able to be used for the development of organic farming materials and the production of environment-friendly crops.
