The present invention provides a method for distinguishing each origin place of a domestic bivalve and an imported bivalve through a stable isotope ratio analyzing method using content of carbon and sulfur, which is a specific element having an isotope contained in a bivalve in a mud flat and an isotope content ratio of each element derived from the content of carbon and sulfur. The method for distinguishing an origin place of a bivalve in a mud flat by using a stable isotope ratio analyzing method comprises: (a) a step of pulverizing a sample after selecting a kind of a bivalve for distinguishing an origin place and freezing and drying the bivalve, removing lipid from the pulverized sample, and then, removing inorganic carbons to analyze a stable isotope ratio; (b) a linear discriminant analysis calculation step of analyzing multi-dimensional data with a stable isotope ratio-measured value completely analyzed in step (a) and providing a statistical probability value; and (c) a step of providing information on determination of classification of an origin place in accordance with step (b). According to this method, reliability further improved rather than a conventional carbon and nitrogen stable isotope ratio is shown, thereby preventing an error in distinguishing a place of origin, which may occur when genetic information is equal even when the habitat is different.
