The present invention provides an autonomous surface vehicle (ASV) for examination of shallow sea, where the ASV includes: a buoy body including a body floating on water, and a rod longitudinally penetrating a center portion of the body and coupled to the center portion; a position receiver for receiving position information of a spot at which the buoy body is positioned from a satellite in real time; an acoustic detector coupled to the rod so as to detect an undersea geographical feature, and positioned on a bottom surface of the body; a plurality of drivers for moving the buoy body in accordance with predetermined coordinate information; a sensor for sensing movement of the buoy body and the acoustic detector; and a controller for controlling the position receiver, the acoustic detector, the driver, and the sensor.
