A worm attack modeling method and a simulation apparatus for a data transfer network having a hierarchical structure are disclosed. According to the present invention, the simulation apparatus comprises: a worm propagation model defining unit for defining a worm propagation model based on worm attack model data in a commercial network; a node recovery model defining unit for defining a recovery model of a node from a worm attack; a node model defining unit for defining a node model constituting a data transfer network based on the worm propagation model and the recovery model; a simulation unit for simulating the node model on the worm attack in the data transfer network based on the worm propagation model and the recovery model.
