Heat-desorption system of oil-contaminated soil and gravel by indirect irradiation of microwave with prevention device of microwave release and pre-heating device of contaminated soil and gravel using waste heat and heat-desorption method using the same
The present invention relates to a thermal desorption system for oil-contaminated soil and gravel and a thermal desorption method using the system for the same. The thermal desorption system includes a microwave emitting prevention device and a preheating device using waste heat while using an indirect microwave emitting scheme. More specifically, the thermal desorption system uses the indirect microwave emitting scheme to purify the gravel and soil contaminated with contamination sources including various oil and organic waste in a cost-efficient and eco-friendly manner. According to the present invention, the device for purifying the contaminated soil and gravel can complete a purification operation by treating the contaminated soil and gravel once to ensure high productivity. The thermal desorption system uses the heat emitting particles of waste materials discharged from an ironmaking process as raw materials to reach goals without using high-cost materials, ensures high cost efficiency, and significantly increase the possibility of actual field application. Multiple ring-shaped microwave attenuation units are arranged on the inner peripheral surface of the outer tube while extending both ends of the outer tube surrounding the inner tube in order to prevent the microwave from leaking between the inner and outer tubes, thereby ensuring the eco-friendliness. The waste heat generated in a contaminated substance desorption process can be utilized in the system to further enhance the cost efficiency.
