The present invention relates to a method for synthesizing a silicon composite, a negative electrode, and a lithium secondary battery including the negative electrode. According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided is a method for synthesizing a silicon composite, comprising the following steps: (a) preparing a precursor mixture composed of a silicon precursor and a metal compound; and (b) heating the precursor mixture to synthesize the silicon composite composed of Si, SiO_x(0x=2), Me_ySi_zO(Me refers to alkali metal containing Li or Na or alkali earth metal, and 0y=2, 0z=2) According to the present invention, it is possible to simplify processes and reduce production costs.
