The present invention is to solve a current problem of not offering an alternative but to expect that fine dust is naturally reduced or rain falls even though fine dust and pollutants caused by industrialization or the like increase to remarkably worsen air quality in the urban area. The present invention adopts a concept in which several hundred thousands to millions of outdoor air cleaning systems are installed at vertical structures (streetlamps, utility poles, and traffic facilities) on roadsides and driven throughout a whole area of a city to actively remove the fine dust and the pollutants. The present invention provides the air cleaning systems configured such that each does not have large cleaning capacity but, if several hundred thousands of air cleaning systems or more are driven at the same time, severe atmospheric pollution problems are able to be solved. If millions of 120 W class air cleaning apparatuses are installed at roadsides in an urban area to clean outdoor air, the apparatuses are able to clean the air with a volume of 100 km x 100 km x 2.88 m and remove 2.88 ton of dust per day with respect to 100 μg/m^3 of fine dust concentration. The present invention provides the air cleaning systems, configured to be attachable to various vertical structures (utility poles, streetlamps, and traffic facilities) on the roadsides even though independent vertical structures for the air cleaning systems are able to be installed on the roadsides, thereby minimizing investment costs and making actual air cleaning services possible.
