Proposed is a parallel cylindrical line (PCL) arrangement method for mapping a magnetic field using a solution of a Laplace′s equation in a cylindrical coordinate system. According to the present invention, provided is a numerical method on the basis of a solution of a Laplace′s equation in a cylindrical coordinate system to map a magnetic field within a cylindrical central volume of a magnet. In a mapping procedure, measurement points may be arranged along a plurality of circles parallel to a z=0 plane. Trajectories of probes become a plurality of PCLs within the central volume of the magnet. The measurement points are uniformly distributed on each of the circles.
