The present invention relates to a composition for diagnosing a metastatic gastric cancer, and a method to predict lymph node metastasis in an initial stage of gastric cancer using the method. According to the present invention, the composition comprises a probe, a primer set, or a nucleotide specifically bonded to a polynucleotide sequence coding one or more proteins selected from a group including apolipoprotein B mRNA editing enzyme catalytic polypeptide-like 3A (APOBEC3A), fragment of IgG, low affinity IIIb (FCGR3B), serpin family B member 5 (SERPINB5), neuromedin-U (NMU), or protein-arginine deiminase type-2 (PADI2), or an antibody, an antigen-binding fragment, or a polypeptide, which are specifically bonded to one or more proteins or each fragment thereof selected from a group including APOBEC3A, FCGR3B, SERPINB5, NMU, and PADI2 or each fragment thereof.
