The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a magnesium silicide-based thermoelectric material used for thermoelectric power generation. More specifically, the present invention provides to a novel manufacturing method for manufacturing a magnesium silicide-based thermoelectric material having a low composition deviation, excellent thermal conductivity, and an enhanced composite fine structure. The manufacturing method comprises the steps of: weighing and mixing a magnesium raw material and a silicon raw material according to a stoichiometric ratio; manufacturing a magnesium silicide-based master alloy by arc-melting the mixture under an inert atmosphere; manufacturing a magnesium silicide-based ribbon by quickly cooling the master alloy; and pressurizing and sintering the magnesium silicide-based ribbon.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
