The present invention relates to a method for preparing kenaf silage, which inoculate kenaf with an enzyme and Lactobacillus plantarum. According to the method for preparing kenaf silage, silage having a high content of dried materials can be prepared since the amount of dried materials lost is small, and silage suitable for ruminant feed can be prepared since the content of organic acids such as lactic acids, acetic acids, and propionic acids is high and the content of butyric acids which may cause the decline in preference is low. In addition, the silage prepared according to the method of the present can be useful as ruminant feed by using, as a main ingredient, kenaf containing various active ingredients such as flavonoids, minerals, polyphenols such as kaempferol or the like.
