The present invention relates to a non-contact type bio-signal measurement method using a singular value decomposition (SVD) technique. The non-contact type bio-signal measurement method using a singular value decomposition (SVD) technique of the present invention comprises the steps of: continuously photographing images of a person′s face for a predetermined time by a photographing means; selecting a region of interest from the photographed face images of a person and separating the selected region of interest into red (R), green (G) and blue (B) signals; normalizing the R, G and B signals after going through a filtering process by detrending for each of the separated R, G and B signals; extracting a blood volume pulse (BVP), which is the basis of the R, G and B signals, from the normalized R, G and B signals by performing blind source separation (BSS) through the application of the singular value decomposition (SVD); selecting principal components (PC) from the BVP to express the extracted BVP as a signal needed for bio-signal analysis; minimizing the noise mixed with the BVP by performing adaptive filtering through the application of the singular value decomposition (SVD) to the BVP; and measuring the bio-signal by analyzing a power spectral density (PSD) characteristic curve of the BVP that has passed through the noise minimization process.
