The present invention relates to a method for direct synthesis of a material having a CHA zeolite structure in the form of an aluminosilicate containing copper atoms, which comprises at least the following steps: (i) at least one water source, one copper source, one polyamine, one source of the Y 4 source element, one source of the X 3 source element, a tetraethylammonium cation as the sole OSDA and an alkali or alkaline earth source A ) / RTI cations, wherein the synthesis mixture has the following molar composition: YO 2: a X 2 O 3 : b OSDA: c A: d H 2 O: e Cu: f polyamine (ii) crystallizing the mixture obtained in (i) in the reactor; (iii) recovering the crystalline material obtained in (ii).
