The present invention relates to a method for culturing the larva of Protaetia orientalis by using a culture medium composition. More specifically, the method enables Protaetia orientalis larva consumption, reduces the amount of fecal matters by using the high nutrient consumption rate, and enables stable nutrient supply in accordance with the growth of the Protaetia orientalis larva in order to grow the larva of the Protaetia orientalis through using the nutrients included in the culture medium composition without supplying additional and separate nutrients. The method can suppress the contamination of the culture medium composition by lowering the amount of the fecal matters in order to minimize the time and economic loss due to periodic partial replacement of the culture medium composition in a culturing process.
