METHOD, DEVICE AND TRACK-BOUND VEHICLE, PARTICULARLY A RAIL VEHICLE, FOR LANE IDENTIFICATION IN A TRACK-BOUND TRAFFIC SYSTEM, PARTICULARLY FOR RAIL IDENTIFICATION IN A RAILWAY TRAFFIC SYSTEM
To automatically identify lanes (FS, GL) in a track-bound traffic system (BVK, SVK) when track-bound vehicles (BFZ, SFZ) are in transit on lines (BST, SST) in the railway network (BNE, SNE), the invention proposes identifying use of a lane on the line, on the basis of: (i) location-related reference information recorded in the form of reference data (RDA), acquired along a line (BST, SST) in the railway network in relation to the geographical surroundings and the use of the lanes by track-bound traffic, and taking the form of reference location information (ROI), reference lane information (RFI, RGI) and reference lane change information (RFWI, RGWI), as well as context and advisory information obtained in the context of the acquisition (KHI) and, optionally, additional meta information (MI) relating thereto; and (ii) comparing operational location information (BOI), and operational lane information (BFI, BGI) or operational lane change information (BFWI, BGWI), which was acquired on the basis of position data in a lane identification operation, with said recorded reference data (RDA). This identification occurs, by evaluation of the relevance and content of the information, if, in the comparison, the acquired operational lane information or operational lane change information is found, for the lane use, which corresponds in terms of the operational location information (BOI) and the corresponding reference location information (ROI) to an item of reference lane information or reference lane change information that is contained in said reference data (RDA), taking into account the context and advisory information (KHI) that is contained in the reference data and the meta information (MI) that was optionally also provided.
