[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide an intellectual property trading system and an intellectual property trading method that trade licenses for intellectual property by receiving information respectively from a lister, a purchaser, and a seller. [Solution] An intellectual property trading system receives, from the terminal of a lister, an input of information pertaining to a license to use intellectual property and the sales price of said license, receives, from the terminal of a purchaser, an input of a purchase price for the input information pertaining to the intellectual property license, and executes a sale to the purchaser when the sales price and the purchase price match. In addition, when the purchaser is a seller, an input of a selling price for the license for intellectual property the seller wishes to sell from among the listed intellectual property is received from the terminal of the seller, and a sale is executed when a purchase price and the selling price match.
