The present invention changes the design of a "stagnated air area" of a steam generator lower support structure into an improved "air cooling and ventilation" structure, and provides, in the introduction of a thermal stress analytical evaluation having not been considered at the conventional technical standard, a design method using analysis, which is capable of quantitatively comparing and evaluating temperature, deformation, and stress distribution states during a transient thermal operation period of one cycle, from nuclear reactor startup up to nuclear reactor shutdown. The present invention can quantitatively analyze the influence, of thermal deformation and thermal stress during operation, which cannot be checked by an analysis method based on the conventional technical standard, and can resolve, in a design step, mechanical deformation, which is generated by thermal deformation and thermal stress in the steam generator lower support structure, by introducing a design method referring to the result value of a novel concept analysis method.
