The present invention provides an on-board camera device and an on-board camera adjustment device in which a low-cost integrated circuit, such as an inexpensive FPGA, can be utilized without complicating a high-speed circuit for processing image-related signals, even in the case of high resolution images or a high frame rate. In the present invention, an external device 500 (such as an on-board camera adjustment device) outputs a request signal to an on-board camera device 100 to output information about the result of processing (such as exposure processing) by the on-board camera device 100, using a video signal output from the on-board camera device 100 as reference timing. The on-board camera device 100 outputs the processing result information to the external device 500 by interrupt processing different from normal processing, and the external device 500 outputs adjustment data 381 to the on-board camera device 100. Inter-communication of control information between the on-board camera device 100 and the external device, such as the request signal, the processing result information, and the adjustment data, is configured to be executable not only in a vertical synchronization period 201 but also in image frame times 210, 220.
