Provided are an information push method and reminder system of an application price-reduction alert technology, said method comprising: recording a mobile-phone-following application inputted by a user and the original price of said mobile-phone-following application (S101); monitoring the current price of the mobile-phone application (S102); determining whether the current price of the mobile-phone application is lower than the original price of the mobile-phone application (S103); if not, then maintaining the original state (S104); if so, then pushing to the user the price-reduction information of the mobile-phone application and also pushing patent information to the user (S105). In the method and system, a mobile-phone fee-charging application followed by a user is recorded; when the fee for the application is reduced, a price-reduction alert is sent to the user, thus preventing the user from missing the optimal time to purchase the mobile-phone application and improving the experience of the user when purchasing a mobile-phone application, while also protecting the interests of the patent (application) applicant.
