A data collection method for alarm technology based on a key connection state, and a key chain. The method comprises: recording a matching relationship between a key chain and a user mobile phone (S101); detecting whether the key chain is disconnected from the user mobile phone (S102); if not, maintaining the same state (S103); and if so, the key chain automatically sending out an alarm, pushing reminder information to the user mobile phone, and sending technical usage data to a data collection end pre-set by a manufacturer (S104). According to the method, a connection condition of a user mobile phone and a key chain is detected, and if the two are disconnected, the key chain may actively send out an alarm and push reminder information to the user mobile phone, thereby preventing a user from losing a key, and improving the life experience of the user; and at the same time, the method can also facilitate a manufacturer in collecting a usage condition regarding the relevant art timely and effectively.
