A method of identifying a fault in a direct current (DC) microgrid power line, a device, and a DC microgrid system. The method comprises: acquiring a power line voltage in a DC microgrid; acquiring a branch current of any branch in the DC microgrid; obtaining, according to the power line voltage, a voltage increment value; obtaining, according to the branch current, a current increment value; determining whether the voltage increment value exceeds a first movement preconfigured value, and whether the current increment value exceeds a second movement preconfigured value; and if the voltage increment value exceeds the first movement preconfigured value, and the current increment value exceeds the second movement preconfigured value, determining that a power line fault occurs. The method can easily determine whether a fault occurs by comparing changes of a power line voltage and each branch current in a unit time, thereby providing over-current protection, resolving a problem of low protection reliability of conventional over-current protection resulting from a current limiting effect of a rectifier during a fault occurs in a DC microgrid.
