A method of producing a non-woven fabric formed by a wet path for a semipermeable membrane support body, the process comprising: making paper in accordance with a wet paper manufacturing process by using a fiber suspension which contains a synthetic fiber as a main constitutive fiber; dry the fiber suspension; subsequently subjecting the dried sheet to hot pressing processing two or more times used a hot calendering apparatus, in which the temperature of the hot pressing process in the second and subsequent treatments is adjusted to be greater than 10 ° C or more than the hot pressing processing temperature in the first treatment, while the dried sheet is treated by using a hot pressing apparatus with hard pressing equipped with a combination of a metal roller and a metal roller for at least one time of hot pressing processing; and thus obtain a nonwoven fabric formed by a wet path for a semipermeable membrane support body.
