A BaKX zeolitic adsorbent without binder comprising: a first zeolite X having a silica to alumina molar ratio of 2.0 to 3.0; a zeolite X converted with binder in which a ratio of zeolite X converted with binder to the first zeolite X ranges from 10: 90 to 20: 80 by weight; and barium and potassium at cationically exchangeable sites within the BaKX zeolitic adsorbent without binder; wherein potassium ranges from 1.15% by weight to 1.25% by weight of the BaKX zeolitic adsorbent without binder, and barium ranges from 31% by weight to 33% by weight of the BaKX zeolitic adsorbent without binder.
