Method for placing roller compacted concrete (HCR) on a subbase to produce a concrete pavement, characterized in that it comprises: (a) dosing a concrete that has a consistency selected from the group consisting of S1, S2, S3, S4 and S5 according to European standard EN 206-1: 2000 and load said concrete in a concrete transport truck, (b) add at least one pelletizing agent selected from the group consisting of cellulose, chitosan, polyacrylics, polyamines, poly (vinyl alcohols), polysaccharides, collagen, acrylamide, lactic acid, methacrylic acid, methacrylate, hydroxyethyl, ethylene glycol, ethylene oxide, acrylic acid, inorganic flocculants and inorganic coagulants for concrete and waiting for 3 to 15 minutes in constant mixing for produce a pelletized concrete with a VEBE time classified as V0 to V2 in accordance with European standard EN 12350-3: 2009 and (c) unload the pelletized concrete obtained Do in step (b) on the subbase from the concrete transport truck, rotating the drum of the concrete transport truck.
