Stereolithography apparatus comprising at least one vat inside which there is provided a resin intended to be solidified by a polymerization process, by the projection of an image obtained by a light radiation on the vat bottom, a movable adhesion platform placed in contact with the resin, there being further provided means moving the platform, intended to move it away from/close to the bottom vat, such to form a sequence of subsequent layers with a predetermined thickness of cured material. According to the invention, the bottom of the vat and the opposite movable platform are removably mountable to a corresponding stationary and movable support respectively, while said bottom of the vat and said movable platform are connected with each other by a shell wall extensible in the displacement direction of said movable platform and of said bottom wall, said platform and said shell wall form a constructional part corresponding to the vat and to the movable platform that is separated, like a replaceable cartridge dedicated to the production of an object. The invention relates to a cartridge comprising a transparent wall, a movable platform and an extensible shell wall that delimit in a sealed manner a chamber containing the resin necessary to produce only one predetermined object, as well as a method for manufacturing said object.
