The invention relates to a bottle opener, for a bottle, provided with a crown cap with a peripheral edge and teeth protruding from the peripheral edge, removal of the crown cap, which bottle opener comprises an elongated body with a body at a first end of the body handle and a slot formed in the body in the longitudinal direction of the body, which slot comprises an end edge extending transversely to the longitudinal direction near the second end of the body. The invention furthermore relates to a combination of the bottle opener and a bottle, provided with a crown cap with a peripheral edge and teeth projecting from the peripheral edge.
