Present invention provides specially design and development of Ultra-Wide Band Microstrip Patch Antenna for Biomedical Application. Designing of Microstrip Patch Antenna using CAD FEKO simulator for the frequency range from 3.1GHz to 10.6 GHz is described which is preferable for biomedical applications. Microwave imaging is the emerging technology used to detect breast cancer, Microstrip Patch antenna plays vital role to transmit microwave signal into breast and receives the scattered signal from malignant tissue which helps to detect the location of malignant issue and its size. Reflection of signal depends upon dielectric characteristic of malignant tissue. Following invention is described in detail with the help of Figure 1 of sheet 1 showing the patch design.
