An electric coil system is disclosed having a choking coil and a bearing body arranged inside the choking coil at least one superconducting conductor element that forms a closed ring and has at least one superconducting layer that forms a closed ring being arranged on the bearing body. Also disclosed is an inductive resistive current limiting system having such an electric coil system and a method for producing a coil system. The production method comprises a step of precipitating the superconducting layer that forms a closed ring on a surface of the bearing body.
