In most of the cities, due to heavy inflow of traffic at particular time intervals, individual lanes of the roads get congested. For example, during office hours mostly one particular lane (uplink) gets congested whereas during evening, another lane (downlink) gets congested. Even the most recent smart traffic signaling systems are not able to provide efficient congestion handling. The problem mainly arises due to the lack transportation space available for the management of vehicular congestion. Our proposed method is based on Real Time Traffic monitoring to build Smart Dividers. The System comprises of divider blocks capable of shifting, in unit distances, sideward to the less congested side. Our proposed idea of the smart dividers would be based on the predictive analysis of the traffic data on roads. We"ll be using this traffic data to find the congestion patterns on each lane based on the time parameters. The system will also notify the commuters of the divider shifting to either side of the road through visual indicators.
