摘要

The invention provides a method and system of real-time IOT based control to meet power demand balance by responsive demand. The hierarchy of loads is predefined and with increase in difference of consumption and production, the least prioritized load is cut. Each appliance is connected with a smart switch, which measures power consumed by the appliance, its status (ON / OFF),.current and voltage waveforms, and THD and power factor and is interfaced with the home base station. The IoT based Multifunction Switching Device monitors and controls the status of the switch along with measurement of power, power factor, current & voltage waveforms and THD, their processing, storage & communicating with them to central server. The physical data from various home base station of a locality are aggregated at Distribution Transformer Base Station. The aggregated data from Distribution transformer is sent to webserver using communication protocols via Distribution substation and Transmission Substation. Server placed at Load dispatch centre will compare the power received from generation terminal to that of aggregator and dispatch the piQwer to the aggregator and hence to the load points according to the priority of load.
